Disney to require masks indoors again from July 30th

I'm actually quite glad they're doing this!

Me too! The thought of being packed into those pre-shows with a bunch of unvaccinated people made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I feel sorry for the cast members having to implement it though, they’ll probably be in for a torrid time with the science deniers.

wondering whether to forget about 21st September, surely there is no way things will improve in 2 weeks when my flight is due to be cancelled (if they are still working on 5 weeks)

my other option is 5th October which may still be too early but it will be another month from now before the flight gets cancelled and things may have improved then if Delta works like it has done here (plus I would arrive after the actual anniversary weekend crowds which I am thinking is a plus)

Agreed this is good news. I think they were far to quick to remove mask indoors and social distancing in queues etc. It made sense to remove masks outdoors but I think everyone would have been accepting of them indoors for a while longer.

Personally I think the policy aged 2 and over is completely ridiculous. Puts me off taking my toddler and I wouldn't want to take him if he has to wear a mask. I have no problem adults wearing them indoors whilst virus levels are high. Having young children wear them though has never felt right to me

Totally agree, outside yep no problem allow people to go maskless. inside it’s obvious masks should have stayed especially when you consider the crowds, the queues etc…

Thing is people could have worn masks if they had wanted to in Florida but they don’t and then everyone gets surprised when infections go sky high. Why is this? People confuse me at times, they really do

I agree,2 is way too young, they'll barely keep a hat on at that age,far less a mask 😳
