When can I book train tickets?

From home station to London? We have masses of time as the holiday doesn’t start for eleven months! But would like to know the cost of the tickets. Also coach tickets?

I think you can book earlier but the cheaper advance tickets are released at 12 weeks.

If you use Trainline.com to book make sure you choose the option to retrieve your tickets using any bank card or to have them as electronic tickets on your phone. I nearly missed my train because we paid using my husband’s card then he had to travel later, and the machine wouldn’t give me the tickets.

I’ve booked the return leg for a trip in October weeks ago. But I’m struggling to get the outward journey booked. It’s ridiculous.

12 weeks is for the cheapest price but you can book around 9 months if you don’t mind paying a hirer price

We can’t book at all. It just says the timetable is not confirmed.
