We’re booked for next June, I booked my parks straight away I’ve already altered them once and will probably alter them again, but you might as well have a provisional plan and book them.

Thanks for this. It seems I prob should start to reserve parks even if not set in stone.

So, any tips on which parks are best on what days? Other than parks are busier at weekends.

We booked for next July. I’ve not booked my park days nor am I ready to at the moment.

I’ll do it well in advance but I’d at least like park hours to be out. I’d normally have a plan in place in time for the old 180 days dining reservations so will probably work to that timeline unless dates around the time we are going start to book up.

Another q... We arrive around 5pm so imagine we will just eat and sleep that day. Would you hit a park on that first morning? I just wonder if we will all have more energy at the start of the hols.
Crowd calculators and predictors are not relevant at the moment. They were based around the days when parks had early or late opening hours for onsite guests on particular days. Now it is all standardised so it doesn’t matter.

If I landed at 5pm then I would spend the evening settling into resort. If I arrived at resort at 5pm, then I would be off to a park or at least out for dinner that evening (we are a party of adults however). I feel sure the next morning you would be wanting to get to a park, we are raring to get started on day one.

I haven’t booked my parks for January yet, I have done a couple but they need changing. There is no reason at all for you to book your parks right now, but equally no reason not to.

Again, there really aren’t any best days any more as hours are more standardised. You are right weekends are busiest, but will be busiest everywhere. I plan shorter days at the weekends and fit other things like shopping in then. I generally try to get a good alternation of my days and book repeat trips to the same park on a different day of the week the second time (e.g. book a Tuesday and a Saturday not two Saturdays).

Epcot at weekends is busy with all those eating and drinking their way around the Pavilions.
We always do MK on full 1st day by tradition.

Other than that, look at what you want to do in each Park and what each member of your group wants to do.
Could depend on the ages of children or just adults or a large family who are going. Lots to research!
Do you have Star Wars fans, if so then more HS days. Young children would prob do more MK or AK.
Once done, then this will tell you how many days you want in each Park, not forgetting the Waterparks too.
Oh and rest days!

Book dates on the MDE once you've linked your booking and tickets.

There is no rush, but at some point you will need to. Link your tickets or resort package to MDE and you will see a big prompt to make park reservations.

We’re going at the end of April and booked our park days a few months ago. We don’t plan to go to Disney every day but have booked random parks for the 14days and will cancel some of them nearer the time when we finalise DC, KSC etc
