Bensons for beds

unfortunately I have to jump in on this and agree with what's been said before.

we bought a mattress from Bensons in July '19, spent around 1.1k on it. The one in the shop was excellent. We received the mattress two months later, and within three days it completely failed. The whole centre section collapsed which left us both 'rolling' into the middle when we lay on it. It took bensons a further 5 months to accept there was a problem, come out and agree to replace it. They sent us another mattress, which again took two months to arrive, (we're now on 9 months)... three weeks after the replacement arrived, exactly the same issue has occurred. However, this time, they're completely unwilling to come and replace it "due to the corona virus"... I'm still arguing it out, we still have a mattress we can't sleep on comfortably, and it's 14 months after we initially paid for it.

I would 110% avoid bensons if you can. Of course, I'm sure people do have good experiences, but in our case they've been absolutely horrendous. I'm currently in the process of paying for my own independent inspection so that I can send it to them and get a replacement. This time I will not be accepting the same mattress (iGel if you're wondering) and will request an alternative brand/spec.
