So onto Bags 4

We start to build up the walls and add some finer details in the sore itself.

First of all, we top off the supports:

The walls go up and window sills are put in place:

The upper level of the store gets its door and window:

Inside the store we have a buoy, cash register, bottle, mug, cash, credit card reader and angle lamp:

One of the windows in the office is shded with newpaper:

Upper storey windows go in:

Its starting to look like a fishing store, don't you think?

I love all the detail in this set...the floorboards are really cute with the wood grain.

Coming along well Geoff. Actually Jenny has stolen my response! The wood grain adds a lovely touch to it I agree.
This model is so unique and away from the norm of everything being perfect and pristine looking.

Is it part of a set where they do others?

Bags 5

I have to say I'm really enjoying this model. So much more interesting than the laborious construction of Big Ben. Well, I think so.

We start by putting anchors, "treasure" chests - full of tools, boxes of flippers, cases of TNT...

Tyres hang on chains:

The shop gets oars, chains and pictures added:

On the stairs and beach are crates of fish and lobster - look carefully - you'll see the lumps of ice!

Inside the store - fishing rods, bait box - even a buoy:

Diving gear - helmets and tanks:

Next we construct the upper storey wall which allows access into the store if you want to view inside:

The gables go on ready for the roof:

Geoff. Not far off completion now. Loads of unique items inside, far more than is the norm I suspect.
They have certainly put a lot of detail into this model.
Keep up the good work.

Bags 6 today. This finishes off the outside planking - adds some more features and sees the roof construction.

So the green planking starts to cover the bare bricks:

The cat arrives:

More green planking:

The store finally gets a name - Anton's ( apparently a son of the Lego Designer who worked with the Ideas proposer):

The papered window seems to be part boarded up:

Roof construction takes place. This is a real hotch potch of planks and patches:

The roof in place:

The final bags - 7 - will complete the tower and the model.
