Mobile What's the best (quietest!) Outlet please?

I've read horror stories about queuing to get into Outlet shops etc.

We will definitely want to do some shopping, but not worried about specific shops. And it will hopefully just be a one off visit, I'm not planning on multiple trips!

I've got young teen boys, so sports shops are probably more important than a Disney store.

We will be staying in Homestead, Naples and Bradenton before we hit Orlando.

Any pointers much appreciated. Thank you x

frist of all, you're going at a great time (judging by your ticker) as there should be a Tax Free weekend early in august (no tax on clothes up to $60 per item) if the tax free weekend is renewed

so keep on the lookout for this info, it's basically 6.5% you won't pay at the store

then we tend to go to the premium outlets at International Drive
they're busy, but never had to queue to enter the stores in august during that tax free weekend.
the key, as always, is to arrive early (they usually open around 10am, check opening hours)
If you're planning on going mid-day/afternoon, then yes it will be busy no matter where you go

you may still be on the coast when the tax free is on, so there is one premium outlet (Simon) at Tyrone Square in St Petersburg

check here simon/mall

but, again, the key is to be there before opening time. We usually arrive at least 30 minutes before opening time, simply to get a close by parking spot

We really liked Miromar outlets in Estero, about half an hour from Naples. We went in August, it was really quiet when we went. We tend to get to outlets early and finish when it gets busy.

Recommend Orlando Outlet Marketplace, it's near Universal and tends to be quieter than Premium Outlets etc. They have the big sport stores.

If you’re out near Bradenton the Ellenton Outlets aren’t too far from there

If it’s quiet you want... definitely drop into Ellenton Mall. We have been some days and it feels like your the only one there.
They have a great Michael Kors shop as well.

The traffic and parking at both Premium outlets can be horrendous at times so we normally drop in to Lake Buena vista factory stores as it never seems that busy and easy to get in and out of.
