Loews Hollywood

Hello

im planning on LA for August 2021, i have been back and forward with different hotels for ages on where to stay. When i visited in 2014 i stayed in the Mayfair in Downtown LA and really liked it however i did have some weird moments on the train into hollywood. I have seen people who have stayed in Loews and i really like the look of it.

Does anyone have any experience there? How was it? Is it better high up or at a low level (my mum is not good with heights, i think she could manage the 8th floor max if there was one). i see it is part of or by highland centre, can you hear the noise outside? does anyone have a trip report from staying there?
(I have looked on past posts but couldn't see one)

Hope you can help

We stayed there as a family and loved it. Great location, fab pool and a view of the sign from our room. It was a few years ago and I did do a trip report.
I’ll see if I can link to it when I get home

We stayed last year, got an upgrade to a Hollywood sign view on check in. Lovely hotel with no noise at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Same here - we chose it so I could guarantee my boys would see the Hollywood sign. Great hotel and easy walk to Manns theatre and adjoined to a mall with plenty of places to eat around - we were on a whistle stop Hollywood overnight stay, so it was perfect for us! 👍

We are planning to stay there next June for 2 or 3 nights to do Hollywood and Universal. The location seems perfect and we love modern hotels... think we might treat ourselves to the Hollywood sign view!

Do, the windows are huge floor to ceiling windows and the view is gorgeous. We stayed there the first 2 nights before starting a roadtrip and of course I was awake at 4am with jetlag but I opened the curtains and watched the sun come up over the sign with a coffee. Just lovely.

And don't forget In n Out Burger is just down the street! Yum.

We stayed in January of this year. Great location, lovely rooms, great view of the Hollywood sign. Staff were helpful and nice. Would definitely stay there again. If and when we hope to go back next year

Had it booked in July and we obviously didn't make it there but adding that they were great with providing a full refund with no hassles on our booking.
