Hiding gifts!

We don't tend to buy any really big gifts anymore so most presents go in locked suitcases - under the bed or in/on top of the wardrobe.

I currently have a huge box of gifts sat on top of my chest of drawers waiting to be sorted in to the relevant piles and packed away though none of it is for my lot so doesn't matter if they see them.

This could be a load of rubbish but my husband said that due to all our insulation up there we can’t have it boarded!?!?!?

That is correct. It could force the ceilings below to fail.

you can, you just need "loft legs" - lifts the boarding above the insulation.

Last year I bought these from Amazon. I put a padlock on the zip. Worked very well. Sturdy bags. Think I ended up with 3.

No other uses for suitcases at the moment!

It’s a bit too early to do this, but after the Xmas decorations are up we put the presents in the now empty boxes that the decorations have come out of. They’re stacked in the garage so easy to get to on Xmas eve.

We’ve done this for years. The kids are adults now and they’ve never worked it out yet! 🤣

My kids are younger, 9&11 but have yet to figure out our super simple hiding place. Honestly it’s so simple I’m wondering how they can be so oblivious!
