Auto payments by credit card

Have just read that the new DVC Membership insider magazine says we’ll be able to set up auto payment by credit card from November. Good for those of us who pay monthly.

Good idea. I wont be doing it though as I like to pay in dribs and drabs but when the exchange rate suits me better.

That would be ideal for us. I don’t seem to get the insider emails anymore. Any idea how you request them?

This is good. I currently pay in advance- May stick with that as Tom does paying in dribs and drabs but at least it’s an option.

Oops, reading that the initial announcement was wrong. It only allows for an annual auto payment and the email only states US credit card holders. I can’t see how dvc thought this was a big benefit to members.

Yes just seen this. I don’t think your original post was wrong though as the news emanates from the trustworthy DVC News. They got it wrong.

Us overseas owners get left out yet again. But of limited benefit anyway as one payment only.

I’ll continue to pay monthly or periodically, in advance.

That’s disappointing, and I don’t see why they can’t take monthly payments by card. I would use my debit card and it would make no difference to them, They get their monthly payments. And I get to pay monthly straight out of my bank.

It’s frustrating to say the least.
