For us, we’re very traditional - we have turkey & one other joint of meat, usually beef or gammon
Roasties, no mash...But possibly mashed swede ! Sprouts are a MUST, along with cheesy leeks or cauliflower cheese, carrots, peas etc ..Plus the usual roasted Parsnips..of course, bread sauce, stuffing & gravy... Loads of Pigs in blankets & YES to Yorkies too ! Ooooh my mouths watering at the thought ! Edited at 09:31 PM. |

No starter.
Turkey breast in bacon, 4 cheese sprouts, roasties, parsnip puree, gravy, cranberry jelly, yorkies. Dessert either trifle or some other home made dessert. Other years been buying a M&s dessert but nothing this year took my fancy.

Turkey and usually a second meat, my fab roasties, leeks, parsnips, bacon rolls and chipolatas, beans and carrots, cabbage with bacon and chestnuts and Yorkshire puds. A Sherry laden trifle for Dessert.
I don't do a starter as by then we have all eaten, chocolates, nuts and god knows what else. This year though, its going to so sad without my Mr. Douglas and I am not sure how we are going to play it, probably only put the tree up, not going the whole hog. Wont be as wonderful as always without him, he loved it all. xx
