I usually buy presents from their catalogue & come to think of it I didn't get one this year!
We bought our poppies online from the British Legion, they had sold out of many of their items, which, hopefully, shows they are being supported by the public this year from afar.

My nephew is in army, his 7 year old son sent off to BL to get some poppies to sell, we got ours from him. Sad to see this charity suffer. X

Despite it being a crab uniform ... it remains a very impressive shop display ... good effort!

There’s a couple of vans here that’s done up in similar livery

My husband is a truck driver I just asked him he’s not seen this one but has seen a few similar ones about on the road.

Thanks for the reminder Mr. T just been on line and ordered two of the broaches, I collect the dated ones and the 'ladies' ones.

After the Wizard posted I did some research

The Poppy Store has a load of nice items for sale. Plus Amazon is selling their products as well and has a dedicated 'Poppy Store' page that is solely selling products supplied by the Legion as opposed to 3rd party sellers. That way you know where your contribution is going.

However be careful as if you just search Poppy you can inadvertently buy off a 3rd party seller and some only give a tiny percentage of money to the Legion.

We have poppies and a tin as usual in the pharmacy. It is half full already, only been there a week. I think because people aren't going "out" shopping, they are putting all their change in the tin when they see one. It is lovely. We have raised so much money locally for hospices and other charities just because we are one of the few places that still has high footfall.
