We got the bus to our resort, retrieved our luggage and used our last QS on nuggets, fries and a jam session alcoholic milkshake. DD ate most of this as I was full from brunch. We sat in the outdoor seating enjoying our last time in the sun. Also paid cash for a cookie for DD. 1 QS or $28 Cookie $4 Magical express time . |

MCO Airport
Sbarro Neither of us were very hungry. Lots of choice in the foodcourt. I got a pepperoni calzone and DD a slice of cheese pizza. I can remember thinking how reasonable it was about $10 We spent our last cash on a Stranger things Universal t shirt for DD in Universal shop. We then literally coppered up and bought a bag of m & m's for the plane. We were flying direct home MCO to Manchester. DD saw someone from school waiting to get on same plane, then in Manchester it turned out her friend had been on same flight too. Pretzels and gin and tonic for me and diet coke for DD. Staff were friendly and service good. Food was ok. I had curry. Dessert was key lime pie. DD had a kids meal but didn't open it. We had good seats again at the back where the plane goes from 3 seats to 2 so lots of room. Breakfast was a pastry and yoghurt and melon. DH met us and drove us home My new Starbucks mugs (got a Universal one too) Last treat before the diet starts again. The Goofy's treats made it back safely. Weightgain and Slimmingworld I knew I needed to get straight back on Slimmingworld so started back the next day after 12 days off plan. Overnight oats for breakfast at work first day back! I won't lie it was a hard first week, I was cold adjusting to UK temperature and craving stodgy food. I weighed the Saturday after and was still in Target zone. Target zone at Slimming world is 3lb above or 3lb below your target weight. I'd got 3lb under target before my holiday to have some wiggle room. So 6 lb gain for 12 days eating and drinking what I wanted. I classed that as a great result. I also won group Miss Slinky 2019 my first week back. I'm still weighing at group weekly. I've already lost my holiday weight gain and i'm currently 2lb below target. If anyone wants to follow I'm posting pics of all my food on instagram as stephaniefiona_sw. I'll do a total spent v DDP cost and final thoughts and future plans post to finish |

What we spent
We used all our credits I loved the app for keeping track. At first I thought we would never get through the snacks but we soon picked up the pace. Went over snacks by 5 but did use 6 snack credits at Ghiradelli on stuff to bring home. We were there 10 nights so for 2 of us on DDP had 20 TS, 20 QS and 40 snacks plus 2 refill mugs. We paid £54.99 each for DDP a night which works out at current exchange rate at $71 a night each or $1420 on food. I paid for DDP as I like the all inclusive prepaid feel. We booked too late for free dining but for us two it was cheaper to stay at a value and pay DDP than free dining at a moderate anyway. I've added up and we did come out well ahead. We chose what we wanted, DD in particular had cheaper items as she prefers the basic nuggets etc. We did did several breakfasts which tend to be cheaper TS meals than dinner. But to counter that we did some of the dearest TS meals like storybook dining and I drank plenty of cocktails which of course bumped up the amount spent. The food we had covered by DDP added up to $2020 So we saved $600. There are always posts is it worth paying for DDP. For us it was. On top of DDP we had to pay tips which were approx $200. About $25 for 5 snacks we paid oop for and $85 for food at Universal and pizza oop for DD. Plus airport food. Edited at 11:51 PM. |

Final thoughts
We had a fantastic time just the two of us with some lovely food. Obviously we had meals that we enjoyed better than others but overall all food was really good and service very good. I enjoyed the inclusion of cocktails on DDP. No trips booked as yet. I am tempted to try QSDP next time as I do think it would suit us with DD and her tastes and her preference to snack rather than big meals. Thanks for reading. |

Really enjoyed as usual. Really nice to see All Star Music. I’ve no idea what my budget will stretch to next time but we definitely prefer onsite so All Stars is definitely a possibility.
I hope you get something booked for next year
