How busy are parks beginning of August?
Hi,
I was hoping to go on the 14th August next year for two weeks but there are a few wanting same time off so I may have to change to 7th August. We have been before last two weeks of August, Easter, May and October. I know it’s the 50th anniversary next year so will be busy but I’m wanting to know if it will be manageable. What we do is up early for park opening, do the rides we want without fastpasses then use fastpasses from 11.30 ish onwards. Usually back to pool 3-4 pm. If we are doing night shows we have a lazy morning around the pool and head to the parks at 3 use our fastpasses then watch the night time show. This has always worked for us and even Easter I thought was more than manageable except MK was very busy. I’m hoping for two weeks onsite and we will just do Disney so hopefully plenty of time. Will going two weeks before we originally wanted to go make a huge difference or people that have gone that time of year manage ok with good use of fastpasses etc? Thanks |

I think I’m back to my original plan of the 14th August.

We normally go mid August and come back just as schools are about to return but we can’t do this next year as eldest will get his GCSE results on the 26th August which is also his 16th birthday! We are planing to go for around 3 weeks staying onsite and then moving to universal. We will just make use of the fastpasses and the time when the parades are on. I can’t see my boys wanting to watch the parades multiple times like we have done in the past.
