Bonfire / fireworks night

There’s load around me. I’m lucky that my cats are fine with them, although we have to lock them in and my dd has thankfully outgrown her fear. Feel sorry for all people and animals affected though.

Some of the bangs near my house are so loud they are making me jump. I’m not scared of fireworks, but I do jump at sudden noises. My cat is happily snoring away though with not a care in the world thankfully.

Loads around us for the past week, don’t think the oldest dog hears them...she sleeps through but the youngest barks at every bang and it’s getting a bit tiresome now...

we've heard loads they've been going off since about 5.30 but only actually seen a handful much to ds disappointment

Our poor Flo is so scared...she is scared of helicopters...tractors etc.
It's like she has gone back six months when we first got her😪
She was a breeding dog for four years ...she dosint need this x

I don’t mind them, and nor does my dog, but my next door neighbours two dogs are absolutely traumatised every year, such a shame for them. It’s also too dangerous to ride our horses as they really aren’t keen, so isn’t an ideal time of year for us

There’s been absolutely loads near me, more than usual, they started early too, the air was foggy & smokey when i walked to work at 4.15, they’ve calmed down now though 🎆

I can’t believe I live in the only area on the country that hasn’t had ‘ loads’
Surely I must have a different definition of ‘loads’ to everyone else ?
If not then well jealous - I love fireworks and hope there is still a good selection tomorrow and Saturday

A friend if mine list one of her horses last year due to idiots setting off fireworks, panicked the horse abd it injured itself.
There is no need for fireworks, incendiaries, to be publicly available.
Many ex servicemen suffering at this tine of the year for peopkes selfishness

Lots more than normal here too, my DD was sending pictures of her cats hiding under their bed, eyes as wide as saucers, while my dog shook on the sofa in fear. We have had them for over 2 weeks though, so I hope that is it now - I am prepared to put up with them for 1 night, just now every night for weeks and weeks
