Please don't apologise, this is exactly the kind of advice that's really helpful, I'd be so upset if I got this wrong.

Thank you

What about making a donation to a charity specific to the type of cancer, or a donation to the hospital they are being treated at?

Fluffy socks as feet tend to get cold. Huggable tablet/iPad stand or how about some nice hand cream or skin care items? (I was told to make sure creams were paraben/sls, etc free).

Some nice gifts/ideas available here:

It’s a lovely gesture, you are very kind!
How about a nice soft blanket? Some natural body/ shower products to help during chemo?

I would send a Christmas card and a basket of fruit hamper or a small traditional hamper. I would give to their son to deliver or get it sent if that’s not allowed. I’ve never met my dils parents, she doesn’t get on with her dad but I send her mum presents and she sends us Starbucks vouchers and cards. Shes Ukrainian living in Canada and I sent her a London bag, London socks, shortbread and a Cadbury’s festive chocolate bar for Christmas. We should of all met at the wedding last year but then Covid happend!

I would try something from this site. I got a couple of wee bits and pieces for a friend when they were being treated and they loved it.

I was about to recommend the same site.

I got a friend the beanie that comes like a rose and she loved it.
