Mobile Allergy friendly restaurants/menus

We’ve booked to go back in 2022, and we have friends coming with us & it will be their first trip to the USA, who have a teen with a bad nut allergy. We’ve never had to look at restaurants that cater for allergies before, and I just want to reassure my friend that there will be places we can go for dinner and her daughter will be able to eat!

Does anyone have any recommendations, or anywhere to avoid? I know Texas Roadhouse ((it is Texas isn’t it?) have peanut shells on the floor so we will avoid going there with them.

Hoping someone out there has positive experiences in Florida with a nut allergy!

Thanks in advance 😊

My wife has a nut allergy. To be honest everywhere has been fine, always check with the server. In most Disney places the chef will come out and advise themselves, outside of Disney they are usually spot on.

Many of the bread type products and desserts are the most frequently avoided items.

Five Guys use peanut oil for frying so avoid there.

I have a nut allergy, as previously mentioned most places are fine

Another one to avoid is chick fil a, they use refined peanut oil which apparently not everyone with a peanut allergy will be allergic to, but it’s not a risk I’m prepared to take!

Logans Roadhouse is another restaurant that has peanuts on each table.

I have a nut allergy, I’ve always mentioned it when ordering and it’s never been a problem. I found it’s taken much more seriously over there than here.
