Virgin 747 ?

We fly from Glasgow on Saturday with virgin on a 747. Anyone have any idea what ife is on it?

It wont be V-Port. It could be either Odessy or Nova or VJam (if Barberalla) but you wont know which aircraft it is till you see it at the gate.

All the Sat Sun flights so far this year have been on the airbus 300 going out of Glasgow on flight VS071.

Mines for July says a 747 and we ve booked our seats on it, but as I say all flights out so far have been on the Airbus.

Check Flighaware to see which plane is going out on Sat.

Doubt it will be Barbarella as Virgin are using the refurb plane on the Gatwick - Barbados route at the moment Was hoping for that one on our Gatwick flight 11th July so fingers crossed as don't really want one of the 747's with the Nova system on as I have heard its rubbish

If your flying from LGW then hopefully Ladybird will be back in service by the time you fly, so there will be a 2 in 7 chance of flying with upgraded IFE.

But then from all accounts you have to avoid the centre 4 as you get no overhead air in PE not sure if economy is the same

we had a look at the films on virgin atlantic web page but theres not many films i would watch.

I think this might be the first Virgin 747 of the summer from Glasgow. We like to do a bit of plane spotting at the airport when VS071 is the 747... sad I know
We'll be the saddos waving at you on the wee road down towards the flying club!

I already checked on flightaware and yes all flights have been a330 but Saturdays is showing 747 on there as well.

We flew out on Barbarella, was lovely!

Desp hoping with everything crossed that we're on that again tomorrow evening - or it'll be even more depressing coming home
