Can I just say how LOVELY it was to be back in school and hear lessons going on and seeing the kids back!

Only 7, 11, 12 & 13 back today - but even walking round the school seeing familiar faces was so nice

(might not be saying this at 4pm on Friday next week after a full week of teaching! )

I’ve had a lovely week. I could get used to one year group per day .

I think I might be on my knees after a full week with a full school but it was nice to have the school feeling a bit more normal!

Pupils are back tomorrow- can't wait, so looking forward to it but I'm sure I'll be on my knees next weekend after a full week (we teach Saturday mornings as well and I'm still in denial about that!)

Ours start back tomorrow and I can't wait to hear the classrooms and corridors buzzing again, and to see them all when they arrive.

My son started back on Friday and had a great day.
A huge thank you to all the teachers who are doing their best to make it feel as normal as possible for them. I know you cop some flack from some people but it’s much appreciated by many of us.👍🏻
