Excel formula help

Hi all

Can someone help with a formula for the following

Figure 1 7983.00
Figure 2 474.00

I need a formula to tell me what percentage figure 2 is of figure 1

Figure 1 7983.00 (A1)
Figure 2 474.00 (B1)

=B1/A1* 100

Test it out with numbers you know.

12/100 * 100 = 12 %

250 / 500 * 100 = 50%


474/ 7983 * 100 = 5.9%
