The Wedding Trip- Day 2- The non day!

Well today we had planned on going to Magic Kingdom, but with half our party missing and my brother refusing to drive the 12 seater 'tank', we thought we better sort that out first.
I called Dollar in the morning and asked if we could bring our van back and change it for something smaller, then drive the smaller one to get my brother's lot, then he could drive that and Jamie's dad would drive the van back. Got that? Lol
All sorted, so I rang my brother, who was now fine with driving in the light of day and after a good sleep, and they were just about to leave the Holiday Inn. They had good directions from the hotel, and were with us by 11am.
In the meantime, we went to Publix which was a 2 min walk away to stock up both houses. Tracy had a field day and bought twinkies, graham biscuits, some strange colourful cereal and my new fave breakfast eggo waffles! Yum! :pop:
By the time we had got back, the others had arrived, and we thought a swim was in order to chill out!
Regal Palms has a lovely swimming pool- the children loved it!
While we were swimming, Jamie's mum and dad made the discovery that our air conditioning wasn't working. At this point, I was beginning to wonder what else could go wrong!
The management were brilliant, and although they couldn't fix it, they got in touch with Simon the owner and we were in another house across the road in a matter of 2 hours. Simon also gave us a call to apologise and reassure us everything was fine. He was so apologetic bless him- a real genuine bloke. We were allowed to leave our stuff in the 1st house and just come and go, so we didn't have to make a huge move or anything.
After a shower, and a quick chat with everyone, we decided to go to Magic Kingdom for the evening. Mother nature had other ideas though and it bucketed it down with the most impressive thunder storm ever!
We sat and waited, while I donned a raincoat and ran between the houses to keep everyone updated.
We thought it may calm down, but it didn't. So we thought we'd get in the van, go to Wallmart and see if it calmed down and if so, we would go to Magic Kingdom from there.
We went to Wallmart and got a buggy for Hollie for $22! Bargain. My brother and sis in law bought one for my nephew for about $27. We also got some capri sun drinks for the parks- 10 for $2-99 ish.
We basically wandered around waiting for the rain to stop. It never did, and we ended up going back to the villa as the fireworks would have been cancelled anyway.
Armed with a few bottles of wine and munchies, we got the kids to bed and had a bit of a late night!
