Full of Yummyness :)

Hi Dibbers and welcome to my food trip report

Me and my other half, Shaun, travelled to Florida last November/December for 14 nights staying at SSR on the Disney Dining Plan.
We celebrated Shaun's birthday and also an early Christmas.

The aim:
To eat one TS in each park (completed )
To celebrate Shaun's birthday in style (completed )
To use EVERY credit we had! (AMAZINGLY completed )

Firstly let me introduce the eaters!
This is me. I'm Jen, I'm a bit of a Disney nut, this being my 5th trip to Florida. I will basically give anything a go food/drink wise.

This is Shaun, his 2nd trip to Florida (and actually 2nd trip abroad!) Picky eater, no salad, nothing too green, no cheese or pasta and nothing too tomatoey!

And where we ate:

Giraffe Gatwick South Terminal
Virgin V Room Gatwick
*Crappy Plane Food (outbound)
Earl of Sandwich
Sunshine Seasons (breakfast)
Garden Grill
Cinnabon
Richter Burger Co.
Fairfax Fare
Kona
Sanaa
Tusker house
Yak and Yeti CS
T-Rex
50's Prime Time
Crystal Palace
Casey's Corner
Liberty Tree Tavern
Artist's Palette
Cheesecake Factory @ Mall at Millenia
Sunshine Seasons (lunch)
Biergarten
Boma
Lottawatta Lodge
The Wave
Cape May Cafe
Studios Backlot Express
'Ohana
Confisco Grille
Wolfgang Puck Express
Croissant Moon Bakery
Bubba Gumps
Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn
Grand Floridian Café
La Cantina de San Angel
Earl of Sandwich
Crappy Plane Food (inbound)

And then I'll just post a selection of pictures of snacks, cocktails etc at the end.
HERE IT IS
AND HERE'S SOME MORE

As you can see we ate a LOT of food so I'd better get this show on a roll!

Looking forward to sharing this with you all,

Jen

Day -1 Giraffe Gatwick South Terminal

Was good start to the holiday. As we stayed the night before in the Premier Inn at the North Terminal we were doing twilight check in.
We then went for a bite at Giraffe (obviously before you go through security)
And a quick cocktail too

I can't even remember what we ate! Didn't take any photos. I'd been awake all day and honestly couldn't wait to get to bed so I could get to Disney quicker!

To be continued...right now!

Travel Day-

Virgin V Room

We decided to pay for the Virgin V room and were so glad we did, would recommend it to anyone, it was so relaxed and we would've stayed there right up until our flight if it weren't for the fact Shaun had forgotten to bring his sunglasses and we had to go to duty free to buy him some more!
We both had a full breakfast, along with strawberry milk which is made in house and is awesome!

I might've had an espresso martini too, for purely medicinal purposes you understand

Flight food

Same old, same old. There are photos somewhere but on my iPod I think. If I find them I'll post them.

Earl of Sandwich

Once we'd checked into Saratoga Springs (and we were too late to pick up the car! D'oh!) we caught the boat over to Downtown Disney for an all important Earl of Sandwich.

(Pictures from 2011)

Two holiday sandwiches (sooooooo good!) We actually had a peppermint brownie too which was amazingly tasty.
Our favourite quick service but plan for a queue and if possible eat outside and watch the fountain outside once upon a toy best first Disney night!

That's all I have tonight, hope you've enjoyed the introduction to my food trip report

Thanks Everyone Holiday sandwiches are SO GOOD! I wish there were more Earl of Sandwich shops in England. Shaun didn't like the sound of it at first back in 2011 then he took a bite of mine and was addicted!

26th November - Epcot

Sunshine Seasons breakfast

It was only ok, to be honest I wish we'd tried something abit different. Shaun did get to try his first 'biscuit' though...he did not like it! I would try to avoid QS breakfasts next time as they're all pretty much the same.

Garden Grill dinner

No pictures of the food, as I'd completely forgotten sorry.
I would highly recommend this for a great meal and character interaction. I'd return for the food alone. There was chicken, steak and fish, the steak was my favourite, it was cooked perfectly and the side dishes complimented the meats well.
The food was great, the atmosphere was fantastic and the characters came round 3 times I loved that the restaurant rotated too, makes things even more interesting.
