Angry with DVC

I called a couple of days ago and spoke to a really nice lady who submitted a form to have my points put back to 2021. She did say it would take 48 hours but it's been a bit longer than that, I think we're all being told different things.

I’ve just done an online chat to cancel my May reservation, and they won’t put my borrowed points back into 2021 use year. They have said the statement on the website applies to people with a reservation within 30 days.

I’m so frustrated over waiting to call up!

I’d like to know if anyone else has managed to get borrowed points put back today?

I cancelled my booking 34 days out on 12th March. They’ve been put back into my December 2020 use year today. I feel lucky. Hope you all get sorted.

As I have stated previously, there seems to be no hard and fast rule.
It all seems very arbitrary/ad-hoc.

I just want clarification as many dibbers have NOT had their borrowed points returned to original use year AND the 'banking rules' apply, meaning many will lose out too.

Worth noting too is that you cannot bank points twice. Hopefully that rule hasn't affected anyone.

I’ve been told I can put them in RCI, do you have to do a week as that’s all I can on DVC site 🤔
