Virgin flight + hotel stay for only part of the holiday

Hi there

I was considering booking with BA using the customise your holiday to book a flight and then a couple of nights in a hotel to make it a package so I would only have to pay a deposit rather than the full price at booking. Is there a way to do this with Virgin?

It's possible, but I believe you have to phone to do custom trips with VH. There's no custom trip option available on their website.

You could also contact an independent TA like Ever After Holidays to get a quote to do the same.

We got a quote for this via VH. Came out extremely expensive but it was before flights were on sale

Just thought I would update in case anyone searches for this.

I visited a Virgin TA today who advised to book as a package and pay deposit only, you must have either car hire for the duration of your trip booked along with the flight OR accommodation for at least half of your trip along with your flight.

As we only needed accommodation for less that half of our trip and the car hire price is far too high at the moment we declined.

I have booked with BA this afternoon for flights and 4 days accommodation paying only a deposit 👍
