Washing mishap

Help!

DD left kitchen towel in the pocket of her fleece jacket when I washed it. Cue a blocked washer and a fleece covered in tissue that won’t come off!

Have tried washing it again…..no difference

Am now trying soaking in aspirin (thanks to Google)….doesn’t appear to be making a difference.

Any other suggestions please to remove all the bobbly bits of tissue?

Thanks in advance.

Let it dry first and then give it a good shake. What’s left can be removed with one of those sticky rollers. That worked for me.

That's what I would do too.

I have done this and got rid of the fluff by tumbling it. Best of luck and hope you get out of the dog house soon.

Thank you. Have tried drying and using a lint roller, but the tissue is well and truly stuck in the bobbly bits of the fleece lining. (You know when cheap fleece like clothes go bobbly after being washed a few times….well the inside is like that and the tissue is well and truly stuck).

I will give your suggestions another go and if it doesn’t work will post pics.

It was only a cheap jacket from one of these online stores….I may just buy another…..

Tumble drying usually works (even on a low setting).

I've done this many times. The last 10 mins on my tumble dryer is a cold tumble and is sometimes enough to get rid of most debris.

Make sure you clean the filter well afterwards.
