Adverts that perplex

Two adverts at the moment leave me wondering how/why?

Manscape “let’s talk about your balls” - how do they get away with this pre watershed. Everytime I see it I just imagine all the awkward conversations going on.

Oral B “have you ever wondered where your dentist goes at night to look after their teeth?” Other than a stalker of dentists, who has ever wondered this!

I can’t honestly remember the last time I watched an advert.

You have got me intrigued though… where do dentists go? 🤔😅

The sum up card reader advert! It’s so bloody annoying when they all start making that weird noise!

The Habito adverts! Really disturbing and frightening for young children.

I don't watch much TV, but plenty of adverts on the radio annoy me.
There was one a while ago for burgers , whose slogan was ' better than you think ' , I mean really ? 😐
Another on at the moment is a mother phoning her son at uni, I can't make my mind up whether she is supposed to sound thick or if she is pretending to be thick to wind up her son. Either way I find it really irritating and not at all funny.

The advert that starts with ‘hello, this is your dry skin speaking’
I mean seriously, if that happens I’ve got more to worry about than moisturising

Going back to Oral B, DS showed me a TikTok (I think?) during lockdown which really tickled me. I’ll find it.
That woman who says ‘I didn’t even know oral B made toothpaste’
Really? What did you think they made?!

The funny thing is that reading these comments proves that those advertisements work, they stick in your mind for all the right/wrong reasons. That is marketing doing its job
