BA cancellation question

Hi all,

Just seeing if anyone has had a similar situation to this and what happened.

I am currently due to travel on the 6th with BA club world. I purchased this in one of their silly sales, so could never really afford to travel club again.

If BA were to cancel my flight as the US re-opening date was later than this. Could I rebook but return from a different airport, and they still honour the cost?

I�m going to hold onto the flights as long as possible, but working on a plan B!

for our flights during these time, we have just been given our money back (either as Cash or Voucher) these can be used for booking a new flight, but at the cost of the new flight.

So your good price will go to waste if BA cancel the flight, sorry to be the barer of probable bad news.

I think I've read elsewhere that if you change Airports then you will be liable for any increase costs, but you can always try & see what happens.

Totally wrong advice.

If they cancel you can change the dates for no extra cost at all. If you cancel/change you pay the difference in fare.

The official rule on airport change is within 300/350 miles of the original airport but only if the date change is within -3/+14 days. In reality, if you ask you might get a longer date change but it would have to be within the 300/350 miles.
