Holiday Inn Orange Lakes

Hi, has anyone stayed here and your views please?
Thinking of booking a two bed apartment for a few nights via Virgin Holidays.

not really a fan of holiday inns. We stayed at the one in celebration last March and it was horrible. Had to move rooms 3 times

Orange Lake is a huge timeshare resort not a hotel like the one in Celebration.

Orange Lake is a great resort. Also feel free to ask about it. I own there and have been every other year since 1982. As said , not a hotel.

We have booked a two bed apartment and with no kids ideally want a quiet location but near golf and eateries. Would you recommend East Village?
I think River island involves upgrading? Which are the newest villages?
Hubby plans to play golf hence wants to be by the course.

North village is the quietest in my opinion. Easy drive to any of the golf and in the middle of the eateries. There a few good video reviews on youtube

I've stayed here a fair few times now in the 2 bed apartments. I travel a lot for work and rack up quite a lot of IHG loyalty points and love spending them on stays here when I'm over from the UK. East village is my favourite area as the pool and hot tubs are almost always quiet. Nice and close to some great restaurants and a publix just next to the entrance... I'll be back there on Nov 13th for 10nights

Been staying here since 1996, as my parents own there. It's really good and not a hotel.

Best bit is you come across very few Brits whilst there. Will be back there in August.
