Good luck to everyone moving in this weekend and massive hugs to all the mums and dad's that might be struggling a bit like me. 😭 I feel very fortunate that I have my boy for another week. We don't move him in until 25th. So I'm going to make the most of this week with him. ❤

That’s us too. Youngest went Monday to start 1st year and eldest goes next Thursday to start her Masters. Going to be very strange to have no kids in the house

Good luck everyone and sending hugs to all parents. Mine is only going 20 miles down the road so staying at home so all we had to do was go with him to see where he parks the car and goes on the 1st morning.

Today is the day! Feeling a mix of emotions..excited for DD but also feeling sad as it’s the end of one chapter, and obviously a bit anxious and worried about her. We haven’t even left yet and I already feel like I might cry. Setting off in a few hours..eek.
Good luck to everyone else moving this weekend or later this week. |

I did not quite realise how hard it would be with the two of them going within a week of each other.
The amount of stuff heaped in the corners in a small house for one was bad enough... for two was just ridiculous. Dd20 went only yesterday, but I already miss her deeply. Though it has been nice to be able to put Dd19s stuff on her empty bed and regain our living space! Getting ready to go again on Thursday... |

DS in and settled. That was one long day yesterday. 9hr hour round trip. Held it together until I said goodbye. Feel happy knowing his mate from reception school year is in the room underneath him. DD goes back today 😬 First time in 22years I wont have them home. Feel incredibly proud of them but time to pull on my big girl pants 🥺 its going to be a very different house x Good luck to everyone going this weekend.

Well DD all settled in. Im really trying not to cry because i dont think i'll stop. Her flatmates seem nice and she is lucky with having 3 school friends staying in flats near her. One of her best friends is in third year and her other best friend has a friend there in 2nd year so knows quite a few people. She off out to a meeting party tonight (7-10) but having an early night as still hungover from saying bye to her best friend last night and with her being on crutches still she cant travel far.
The dogs keep running up to her room trying to barge the door to see if she still in there. I cant believe just how much im missing her already. |

I am going to saviour the next two weeks with my daughter and try and do as much as we can before she goes.
We went to the Trafford Centre last night for a small shop, she needed a jacket to take with her that will be right until her winter coat makes an appearance. Had a Yo Sushi whilst there, it was good to go just the two of us. |
