GCSEs 2022

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere. Does anyone have any dates for when GCSE’s will finish in 2022? I’ve just been to parent’s evening and one of the teachers mentioned that AQA may be stretching their exams later.
We’ve booked a holiday flying on 16th July, thinking this would be adequate time to get exams and prom out of the way, as if it’s not stressful enough.

I found this for 2022:

GCSE exam dates
Provisional GCSE exam timetables have been released by Edexcel.


These timetables say exams will begin on the 16 May and finish on 28 June.

Where there is more than one exam paper per subject, those papers be spread further apart than usual.

For example, the two English language papers will be sat 18 May and 10 June.

Similarly English literature will be sat on the 25 May and 8 June.

Mathematics has three papers and they will be sat 20 May, 7 June and 13 June.

GCSE results day 2022
Results day for students will be on Thursday 25 August 2021.

Just had a look on websites it seems that all exams from all exam boards will be finished by 28 June 2022. Look at TES website.

I was told 29th June is likely to be the contingency day.

Thanks both, not sure if I could cope with the fallout if dd had to miss prom, so fingers crossed they get it sorted

Well I needed to know A-level dates but my friend could only confirm GCSE’s. She said it’s likely to be the same. Good to know it’s definitely the date for A-Levels

these are the same dates the college have sent us for the students resitting maths &/or english. They are usually accurate and while subject to possible change till confirmed the exams are usually in May & June each year.
