Hi
We went up to Beacon as my cousin lives there. At one point the railway line is only inches above the Hudson! Beacon is a fabulous town - its very much a haven for artists - they have a glass blowing factory there, lots of galleries and lovely coffee shops. I think the previous 2 stops are very good for walking activities - lots of people got off there for the day. Its an hour from Central Station but in reality it feels like a different planet! I know people dont go to NYC to go walking but its soo different and such a short journey away if anyone has a spare few hours its definately worth it. x x |
