My City

I managed to do the Star Shine walk last night. 10 miles in 3 hours. It was a lovely evening and I walked through some streets in Cambridge I had never seen before and it made me realise how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful city. I didn't manage to take any photos but thought I would share some tourist photos with you.

If you have a beautiful city, town or village too please share some of yours.

This last one is a memorial rose garden for Princess Diana in Christs Pieces.

I love Cambridge especially the narrow streets with independent shops and 'boutiques'.

Chelmsford is a lovely place to live IMO but it's no oil painting !

What amazing pics! We are visiting Cambridge for a wedding in August and will be there for a couple of days so hope to get a good look round.
My city is Liverpool and one afternoon in the winter I had a good walk around and took some pics while I was waiting for my daughter and her friends. You see things you never noticed before and it gives you a renewed love for your city doesn't it?

Lovely pictures of Cambridge.

I'm also very lucky as we live in York and it's just beautiful all year round.

York is one of my favourite places to visit and stay... I'm in South Yorkshire and Yorkshire has some fantastic and beautiful places within easy reach... unfortunately though I live in Rotherham and can't really think of many positives 😳... there's a couple of nice parks of that counts 😂

We love Cambridge, I live about 90 mins away and we often go on a Sunday for a wander around and a bit of shopping, such a nice place.

We're off in about 4 weeks for the day and I'm really looking forward to it..

I live near Boston and hate it but I did take these pics a few weeks ago to show my American friend.
(probably the least bug infested hotel in Boston lol )

I live in Rotherham too and although I agree it's beautiful to walk around wentworth and greasborough dam and chatsworth and only 15 minutes into Derbyshire, it is also fantastic to see the sites of York and Cambridge. X. Sarah
