We are currently sat in the hotel watching the lightening and wondering where we can go with an 11 year old in this weather. Ideas? X Sarah

 At resort, food & arcades. Disney Springs, poncho it up and go shopping or go to splitsville or Disneyquest. Personally, I'd probably be at MK as it has a lot of indoor attractions that are fairly close together. Plus it should be relatively quiet

We went to Blizzard Beach and got half hour in the water until we had to get out, sat for half hour waiting for it to pass and then gave up! Half have gone to Disney Quest and have of us are going shopping. Fingers crossed it picks up for tomorrow, it's our last day and we're doing PM at MK

Is there any sun at one of the beaches you can drive to? We did this last year as it was raining in Orlando but hot and sunny at Clearwater

We got rained out of Aquatica, we managed 5 rides, before rides were shut , wave pool was open for a bit, then we all had to shelter from the rain. Rides did reopen in the rain but it was too cold. We are now at premium outlets instead of SeaWorld.
