What plane are we on?
Hi All we are traveling early May 2020 on BA2037, we are travelling with
our 7 month old grandson so DD has booked the sky cot positions. She is not sure if we will have 3 seats in a row or 4 (there are 4 of us travelling with the baby) so 1 (prob me will have to sit on our own) Is there anyway to find out? Thanks...

I might be wrong, but does it not tell you on your booking?
I’m sure it’ll tell you the aircraft type (most likely 777) but it won’t tell you the configuration, this you’ll normally only find our when the tail number is assigned. |

this flight is currently flown on triple 7s (any kind of flavor actually)
you'll most probably be on the 772 there is a special type of cabin for flights out of LGW, so that should be that one seatguru/airlines/Br..._777-200_4.php |

If you have the BA booking ref (6 character alphanumeric), you just need to log into the booking via Manage My Booking on BA.com. The seat map for you your flight and cabin can be seen from there.

I will be on that flight too when we due to travel next July. It’s a 777. The configuration of seats in economy is 3-4-3. Bassinet seats are first come first serve. It’s best to phone BA to reserve it.

Most of the planes are now the refurbished 3-4-3, but occasionally it will be a 3-3-3, although the first row of economy, where the bassinets are is 2-3-2 in the latter.
More to the point: If you have an infant in your party, which you do, BA gives you free seat allocation for all the party, so you should be looking at the seat map and booking seats asap . Although at 7 months the baby will probably be too big for the skycot, BA also do Britax infant seats that would be suitable that go on the bassinet shelf in the first row of economy. PS. You will also be able to reserve the seats online as your booking will have an infant on it , or you can ring them. Edited at 11:13 AM. |
