Poor DS! What a week

DS (12) said he didn’t feel well this morning, I checked his temp and it was 37.7. Checked again at lunchtime and it was 38.4. DH had come home for lunch and obviously hasn’t been able to go back to work this afternoon, I have organised covid tests for us all later this afternoon. DS current temp is now 38.7.
I work for the NHS and did a home covid test last night which was negative but I’m due in at work on Sunday and have been told unless I get a negative main test I can’t go in. I’m also not allowed to do an extra home test.
Poor DS has had a week from hell, roll on Xmas lol 😂

Thanks everyone, we’ve all had covid tests and await the results. He already feels better and his temp has come down after some paracetamol. I’m sure it’s probably a virus but obviously we have to be safe and abide by the rules.
We should have been landing in Orlando right now instead we are all self isolating and awaiting test results lol 😩 roll on 2021!
