Ok Lets Try This... Live Food Report June/July 2016 - Day 13

We headed out to Disney springs for lunch and decided on our favourite earl of sandwich. I had the holiday turkey, I've never tried this before but oh my goodness it was amazing. DH normally had this but opted for something different.

DH had the Hawaiian BBQ, he enjoyed this, it smelled really good.

DD had the Mac n cheese. I finished this off for her, it was really good Mac n cheese.

DD also got a pot of grapes to have after her Mac n cheese. She really enjoyed these, we have noticed that fruit in Florida is quite bland compared with at home, it doesn't have as strong taste.

We used out 10% DVC discount here and it came to a total of $24.39. We got a large fountain drink to share between us as we never even finish the regular ones when we have one each. Love ear of sandwich and will hopefully fit in another trip there this holiday!

When we came back to the room after Disney springs I had a bit of a mid afternoon snack while DD and DH were in the pool. I had bought a 4th July cupcake with some of our left over snack credits a few days ago and this was sat in the fridge. It was admires cupcake, graham cracker flavoured cake filled with chocolate mousse filling and topped with marshmallow cream topping and mini marshmallows, it was really tasty especially the chocolate filling which was really rich. This should have been $5.69.

For dinner we headed out to crossroads to sweet tomatoes. Love this place, after eating rich Disney food for 2 weeks I was looking forward to a good salad! I had Caesar salad, some lettuce with ranch dressing and feta cheese and croutons, tomatoes, pasta salad, red cabbage, red onion and potato salad.

DH had this plate full.

They do the most amazing homemade strawberry lemonade here, full of pieces of strawberries.

I then grabbed some 4 cheese pizza and garlic bread. They also had jacket potatoes with various toppings such as sour cream, cheese, bacon bits and spring onion.

DH had the chicken noodle soup and enjoyed it, I tried the cheese and broccoli soup and it was delicious.

For dessert I had chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce and Oreo pieces, this was delicious, the caramel sauce is so tasty!

DH had chocolate brownie and chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce. He said the brownie was really good.

And he had another helping of brownie, chocolate mousse and Oreo pieces. It came to a total of $36 for the 3 of us which we thought was great value.

While in Hollywood studios this evening DD and I got a marshmallow wand covered in m&ms to share. Absolutely love these, one of my favourite Disney snacks!
