Toronto The Third -Day 4

Today was a bit cooler and a bit overcast. We had planned to go back downtown and thought we'd walk some of the way and then maybe jump on the streetcar or bus at some point...

... we passed this lovely building on the way. I'm not sure what it is but I liked the architecture of it ...

... 2 and a half hours of walking later we arrived at St Lawrence Market. WOW there was some amazing meats, fish, cheese and cakes on sale amongst other stuff. We had a good browse around then had some Italian street food. DH had a meatball classic sandwich and I had the chicken parmigiana. I couldn't finish mine so it's in the fridge for later.

We bought some cakes for eating later, they're also still waiting to be eaten - apple toffee crumble for DH and key lime tart for me.

We jumped on the streetcar back to the condo. Again this took about an hour! We got so far along and the driver announced it was his last stop and we should all get off and get on the next car! So off we got, waited for the next one to stop and off we set again. We have to change trams at the Loop any way so that was 2 changes today.

My aunt and uncle were coming to collect is to take us to a friend's house for a wing night. On the way we had to drop my youngest cousin off at work at the Mastercard Arena, where the Marlies play and the Maple Leafs train. They have tribute boxes to local sports people. This one is for my cousin. I think it's really cool.

We then headed for wings and a few beers and had a good night with great company before my aunt dropped us back home to bed. We'd walked over 15 km today!

I think the market in Toronto is one of the best I have visited!

We saw the Marlies play when we were there! So much fun!
