The app is rubbish it’s easier to look on the website via the laptop. they are meant to have a 2 wk rota but they never get their shifts till the Sunday before so like you say impossible to make plans. You can change dd’s available hours for each day for example dd only works till 1pm on a friday. any shifts she gets allocated should then be within the hours she’s available - no guarantee you’ll get hours but at least they should be suitable. Weekend shifts are usually easier to get than weekdays

Thank you. So do you mean she can go on the website and change the hours available herself ? I didn’t know this. She keeps waiting to ask the manager but he never seems to be there !
I asked about her contract and she says she doesn’t know. Over 3/3.5 weeks during the summer holiday she was working every day. When she went back to college she was off on a Wednesday so she has been doing Sat/Sun/Wed so 24 hours a week. She has now changed college and is going back to sixth form from today so will no longer have Wednesdays off. Ideally she would do one 4-8 shift in the week and either Saturday or Sunday, obviously more in the holidays.

If she can input her own availability this will be much better. When she said We’d/Sat/ Sun she meant within that period not all of it !

Yes you change it yourself if she logs in to her account you can change your availability for future weeks. Dds on holiday so not totally sure which bit it’s under but I think is under one of the. My schedule options. She can change Wednesdays to not available and reduce her available hours at the weekend so she gets shorter shifts. You can even change it on a weekly basis if you have different days you can work
At the moment they are really short staffed so will give them as many hours as they have available if there are shifts to fill.
