Me too BB , you only have to see all the private planes coming into the UK from across the world on flight radar .
And all these so called “influencers “ using the work excuse to avoid travel restrictions.
Don’t give up all , my fingers are crossed for you and I am going to try and keep this a happy thread ☺️

Just a quick follow up. All checked in and getting set up at the hotel now

Customs clearance as Miami was super easy. No questions other than how many nights in Barbados. Through in 5mins. The long drive wasbt so fun, nor check in at 1am but that's done now.

Excellent. I opted for the 14:30 flight out then connecting flight to MCO, getting in at 21:30, saving the drive. Planning on a few relaxing drinks in the airport before getting an Uber to Wilderness Lodge.

They have nothing to worry about. We are doing it for them.
If you have the money and the time you can go anywhere in the world. They rarely mix with joe public and have exclusive resorts to go to. Large houses to live in and as long as the binmen, delivery men and supermarket staff continued to work their life did not change.
The biggest impact of Covid has been on the poorest in society. In fact the poorer you are the worse it is.

For us the only option from Barbados was 3.27 which left something like a 80-90min layover which left me worried so otped for the drive.

Opted(and paid extra for) the 14:30 - checked my account today and the 14:30 flight doesn't exist any more, bumped back to 16:30, flight onto MCO from Miami now gets us in at 22:15.

Bit annoyed as it's now a fairly tight connection time. Fingers crossed that's the only hiccup we get.

With the news coming in looks like I will be cancelling this flight and using the credit to rebook for a planned trip in 2022.
