The more space the better but ds makes it work in a approx 6ftx6ft area. It’s wire free so they do tend to travel a lot at first but they soon get the hang of it and you set up a area boundary line so it alerts you if you are to close to the edges.
You do have to link the oculus to a Facebook account and you buy games using PayPal or card. There is some free content and games run from a few pounds upto about £30 but there are always offers on and we’ve had a few free store credits. This week I got £8 credit no min spend.
I went with the bigger memory which costs more but as it’s not expandable I figured it was worth it.

I looked at the bigger memory one. It definitely seems more sensible to go with that one 👍🏻👍🏻
My lists are getting bigger and bigger 🤣
Apart from my youngest boy 😬😬

Granddaughter needs new riding boots , back protector jodhpurs etc so she’s sorted
Step grandson it’s will be new football boots kit etc
Those are the hardest two as the other 3 are younger
The hardest of all is our middle son but I have got a Hugo Boss golf shirt for him so far

I’ve already got all mine sorted!
I have a small budget for each (baby’s is due feb!) but want to make sure I get at least a few things they ask for.

I have lists for everyone (3 children, partner, family etc). I’ve got a lot of the list already but my parents like to buy them gifts aswell so I gave them things I would have bought them.
They get money from everyone else which goes towards spends for holidays.

I’m slowly stopping myself going overboard as I’m sick of my house being cluttered with toys they don’t play with 😂
