Disney Stay & Cruise

Okay ** APOLOGIES **

Long winded background...

So we booked WDW at BC for Sept/Oct 2021 back in 2020 just prior to COVID :-(

We were positive up and till 4 weeks ago and the penny dropped. We needed our disney fix and managed to snag a 2 night cruise on on the Magic on 4-6 Aug. It was our 1st cruise (never considered a cruise before) and only did it for our disney fix this year. Turns out we loved it and now serously thinking about when we get our cancellation email from BA in the next week (due to fly 20th Sept) that we will cheer ourselves up by tagging a 7 night cruise when we re-book into 2022 (march / sept).

I told you it was long winded.

SO SO SO SO SO SO

I'd love to hear your thoughts if we are mad or if anyone else has done this and gauge your thoughts on the experience etc.

We have done a 3 night cruise in the middle of a Disney cruise twice snd we loved it. I would definitely do it again.
You just need to work out the balance of Disney days vs cruise days that you will want.

The perfect holiday for us would be 10 days at a Disney resort hotel and then a cruise on the Dream out to the Bahamas. We did it in 2019 and it was unbelievably good….

We are looking at 13 nights at WDW and 7 nights on the Fantasy. Just waiting for our dreaded cancellation email coming from BA (due to fly on the 20th Sept) - they have cancelled up to the 19th as of friday.

How did you find the transfers and getting back to the airport after the cruise ?

After cancelling Beach Club for 2020 and then twice cancelling DLP in October 2020 and May 2021 we have gone all out and are booked for 3 nights on the Wish next December, followed by 4 nights at universal and then finishing with 9 nights at Disney.

Please please please let it happen 🤞🤞🤞

I really enjoy adding a cruise on to a WDW trip so definitely worth looking at. Just to say that if you do a Caribbean one as well you get to experience Castaway Cay which is amazing! The Wish is coming out next summer but doing the shorter cruises (3/4 night) so you might want to look at this as an option too as its going to be such a different cruise to the other ships.
