Adding people to rooms after booked
How easy is it to add an extra person to a booking?
Looking to book Royal Caribbean Would potentially be adding dd to an ocean view cabin which will just have ds in Would it be better to add her at the start and potentially take her off?

Not 100% sure but I think it would be easier to add someone that take them off the reservation and end up with a cancellation fee.

You need to ask RCI.
Things to be aware of, if sailing in a room as a single there is likely to be a single person fare which is higher than the per person fare which is based on two sharing. Plus if you wish to add a person although technically you already have a spare bed in the room, muster station capacity limits may have already been reached, so adding someone would not be possible. |

I’ve done it in the past, as long as there is capacity they’ve been happy to do it - they’ve even adjusted pricing to reflect the reduction if applicable for the extra person.
You will need to call them though 😊 |

Due to lifeboat capacity its always easier to add then remove if not travelling. If you don't add them initially and the lifeboat capacity fills up then you wont be able to add them later. Price wise you probably wont find much difference between 1 and 2 in the room anyway. Just don't put them as lead on the reservation
