Anyone else thinking of planning a day out next month

We have managed 3 times, since it opened with timed parking bookings, to take the dog to our 'happy place' Clumber Park. I actually shed a tear being back there again. Even heard a cuckoo there first time in couple of years!

We have Whipsnade booked for next Friday , Chessington world of adventures booked for 11 July and Alton towers booked for end of July (moved from April)
So looking forward to getting dd out of the house finally.
Local walks /bike rides just aren’t cutting it anymore

We’re in NIreland & I’ve booked an over night stay for 9th July in Dublin’s new hard rock hotel. It’s our 24th anniversary so it’ll be nice to have a meal & a few drinks too.

Since restrictions eased here a little, we've enjoyed a few day trips. Tied nicely with my husband been on annual leave. We've visited the zoo, a farm, the beach, parks and spent time in the mountains. Enjoyed the change of scene. Hotels, restaurants and pubs that serve food here due to re-open 29th June. We have a few overnight stays booked for later in the summer!

They are open for emergency service workers only.

I recently had to go to Edinburgh there was me, the team that came to assist me, and quite a few other chaps there too - they seemed to be from the national grid/water boards etc

No public.

And our food was delivered outside our room for the breakfast and evening meals.
