Question for hairdressers
I’m 48 years old and my hair seems to have started thinning. My hairdresser recently commented on it too. I’ve been thinking of trying the Plantur 39 caffeine shampoo. Will this really make any difference, or would i be better with tablet supplements like collagen? I recently had a blood test where my doctor checked all my hormone levels & thyroid levels, these came back ok. I’m just trying to minimise further loss as one of my sisters (who is 60) now wears a wig as her hair has thinned so much.
Just a last question, will Plantur 39 strip my hair of colour (I usually have it coloured, or roots done every 6 weeks). Thank you! |

I’m not a hairdresser but Mum lost her hair through chemo, when her hair started growing back it was very fine and our hairdresser suggested Plantur 39, mum has found it’s made a difference it’s not as thick as it was but it’s certainly better.

Thank you all, I’ll have a look at all these options. Fortunately my hair was fairly thick to start with, unlike my sister whose always had quite fine hair, so hoping I don’t loose hair to the same extent. Thanks again all.

My hairdresser recommended nioxin I use the coloured one, it’s often cheaper on amazon than through hair suppliers.
