How did you spend your Sunday?

Tidy garden up am. Then pm went out on my motorcycle for a ride out in the sunny but cold weather( 8c ). Was wrapped up accordingly so didn't feel the cold. Now flicking through sky TV for something to watch later. ( Had sky installed yesterday)

Took the dogs out first thing as it was dry then brought everything for this weeks meals out the garage freezer in to the inside one
We swept up the last of the leaves as it’s food and garden waste bin day tomorrow
Then argued with a Christmas wreath for a couple of hours before calling it a day
DH took the dogs out in between watching football using his tread mill and now sat down to watch the NFL well I should say he’s ironing as well though

Got up late as we had a busy day clearing the house yesterday and a late night. Cooked a roast and continued clearing the load of junk that has accumulated in my house over the years. The skip is full.
We then watched The Santa Clause and now just chilling with a glass of red.

At the rugby pitch for 9am, set up coached 2 age groups home for lunch at 1pm washed & hoovered the car, went to get something for tea, made chicken tikka, rice & nan bread! Emptied dishwasher away to iron the school shirts then finally sit down!

Chilled morning, then looked after granddaughter, took her fishing then cooked dinner now relaxing for the evening, looking forward to I’m a Celeb later.

We walked up the road this morning to get sausage and bacon rolls. We’ve watched Netflix, 3 football matches and organised/cleared out 3 kitchen cupboards In between. My husband cleared all his tools out of my laundry room so that looks much better now. Boys have all had a lie in and been gaming this afternoon. We got a KFC so no cooking for me today, and now about to watch LFC & I’m a Celeb with the boys before bed.

A nice lazy but somewhat productive day. I’ve found that the best way to get my husband to sort out his junk, tools etc is to do it in small chunks between football games. Might take longer but he doesn’t moan at me and I’ll eventually get my cupboards/worktops/space back!

Long phone chat to DD who is in uni this morning which was lovely. Then a bit of ironing. Fish finger sandwiches for lunch then an afternoon planting tulip bulbs as it was a beautiful afternoon here in Wales. DH cooked a lovely beef roast for our tea, now we’re settled in front of the wood burner watching Countryfile, Strictly results and maybe a film later. A lovely, laid back Sunday 😀
