Are you looking for direct flights from Glasgow or would you be willing to consider indirect flights via Gatwick or Dublin?. Indirect flights generally work out cheaper with more options. Virgin are flying on Saturdays in August direct from Glasgow but I've found them to be a bit more expensive.

Just did a quick price comparison Virgin v BA for same dates we are going next year Flydrive. Virgin GLA-MCO with Mustang Convertible £2615 for 2 passengers, BA GLA-LGW-TPA (prefer TPA and booked as such ) £1560 with same car and passengers. That's quite a bit of small change.

Virgin go direct GLA - MCO. I'd consider (as we've done it for a few years now) GLA - LGW - MCO or TPA with BA. The drive from Tampa is under 1 hr 30 mins to the Orlando area and it's Interstate all the way. Tampa is also a quieter airport and easier to get through Immigration than MCO.

We've always done indirect from Glasgow. The last few years we've had fantastic prices from BA Gat-Orl or Heath-miami-orlando. Next year we are going with Aer Lingus via Dublin

At that time of year it will be Virgin and Thomas Cook to MCO and Tui to Sanford.

Might not be Thomas Cook, judging by the stories today...
