I honestly couldn't tell you if I've ever eaten in a McDonalds.

However, playing along, if a server repeatedly checked if we were OK and needed anything else, provided drinks refills without being asked then, yes, leaving a tip would seem appropriate to me.

I'm happy to show some appreciation to those on or around minimum-wage who go about their work with a sense of joy and pride. A few dollars from me could make all the difference in the world to them.

We loved here on the dining plan. Gave a tip without a second thought, they did bring you the meal and refill drinks if necessary .

Really ? I’ve never had staff at McD being my food to the table and offer to get refills etc.
McD is nothing like WPE .

Most McDonalds bring your meal to the table now when you order from the self service electronic menu boards here and in the US, they don't offer refills though.

Oh really, shows how long it’s been since I was in a McD .
Still totally different though from WPE.

Yes, the nearest system to Wolf Gang Pucks off site is Culvers.

Different from McDonalds entirely. For a start, proper crockery and cutlery, and much better food. And you are shown to a table.

A more accurate comparison might be Nandos.

Gutted to find out they have closed, loved the food there and one of best uses of a QS credit, we always had good friendly servers who would get us refills and make sure we were ok, even though a tip wasn't expected we always left one.
