Yes it was doing the same with me but DH had an account from 2014 so I ordered it on his account.

Sorry to highjack, but does that mardi gras work the same as the 3 days photo pass? But it lasts all year not 3 days?

We have never done universal so just pricing it all up at the moment.

Mole 83. there are two mardi gras specials. the cheaper one gets 5 consecutive days use. I assume the more expensive one labelled annual pass might give you a whole year, but maybe someone who has bought this could confirm details?

And do universal do the kind of magic bands like Disney do?

No magic bands. they give you a lanyard when you go to the photoconnect shop to activate your purchase. little piece of card in it. you probably can have more than 1 but we didn't need it.

when you get off a ride, you find your picture, and I think we swiped our card to link the photo to our account. all worked fine. There is an article on orlando informer that explains all the photo opportunities at universal, which I found useful.
