why not just put the files on harddrive/memory sticks and watch them directly on the tv or thru the dvd/blueray player - may have to convert the files to a playable format but that would be an easy way to carry them with you - rather than investing in a DVD/Blueray burner...
That might work! We've been watching them from the camcorder for nearly two years so I'm not fussy about the format just that we can watch them. At the moment they're on 2 x 32gb memory cards but we really need to get them off the cards so we can reuse them this trip. A stick might work. Out tv is pretty old now and our blue ray/DVD player is actually a PS4 but I presume they have a USB. I'll check it out in the morning. Thanks

ps 4 will deffo play them

first of all put the blank stick in the ps4, then go into options, memory stick and format... (this will put the stick into the right format for the ps4)

then put it in the mac/pc and copy the files over - pop it into the ps4 and its should play (dependant on the file format - if its wrong - just convert and then put it on the stick)

you could even then copy the files from the stick to the memory of the ps4 - and then you don't even need the stick anymore - just watch the files straight from the ps4

digital files are so much better than burning to dvd or blueray - that's a faff...
