Adventures in Public Transport :The Return - Day 14 - Time to relax

Quick report for today as it was a designated down day starting with a much needed lie in. DH popped down to grab some breakfast from the coffee shop and we enjoyed this while watching a bit of TV. We then took some time to sort out the cases and pack up some stuff we would be needed again. We also had one further hotel change tomorrow so we wanted to ready for that.

We eventually left the room about 11.30am with the plan to head into DTD for some shopping. As we came out the elevator we came upon some characters so stopped to say hello.

We took a look around some of the shops in DTD but came away empty handed so decided to head in the Grand California for some lunch at their quick service place, White Water Snacks.

From here we headed back to the hotel to relax some more (Yes it was very lazy day).

For dinner that evening we headed to the rainforest cafe. It was surprisingly quiet and we were seated within 15 minutes on the upper level by the elephants. These restaurants can get a bit of a mixed review but we find the food good and we had a great server.

After dinner we just wandered around DTD taking in the atmosphere. There were a couple of good band playing so we watched these for a bit before grabbing a bedtime treat from Marlines:

We took this back to room and enjoyed it while watching the fireworks. I’d never actually tried one of the apple before that I can remember and they were really good. Not long after the fireworks finished we headed to bed with one final play of the magic head board.

It is good to have a relaxing day - spmetimes your body needs that time in order to take full advantage of the busy days! Our Canadian holidays are full of relaxng days
