Discovery cove in November
Hi there I notice there are quite a few dates blocked out for DC in November, also December and January. I guess this is because of the change in weather? Perhaps their operation times are shorter.
Has anyone been to DC in November? Is it too cool for swimming and lazing around then? We have been before but that was September |

Hi we visited last November on the 5th. It was extremely hot weather; mid 80s and I got sunburnt 😳. The saltwater pools are quite cold but with a wetsuit it’s not a problem as you soon become accustomed. We have always visited in October or November and find it ideal weather. I guess as it’s classed as off season they just don’t open as often. It wasn’t overly busy when we visited and it was a weekend

We went last year 22nd November and the weather was fine. We wore wetsuits. Everyone was fine snorkelling and swimming.

They close due to operational days during November but we were due to go the 30 October 17 but we had sickness that morning but I was grateful as it was only around 17 degrees and it was freezing but it takes a lot for dc to close compared to the other water parks as you have a wetsuit and the dolphin pools and reef are cold anyway. We went on the 5th as well but it was a foggy start and took a while to warm up. The whole two weeks was hit and miss heat wise tbh.

We went in November on the coldest day of our trip, but even so, for a cold person like me, it was bearable in a wetsuit.

Don’t forget, you are allowed to change the date you go if you find the weather is predicted to be wet or cold.
